St Andrews' Steps

A magnificent joint effort between F&R Community Council, Regenerate Our Green Space (ROGS) and the Black Isle Men's Shed (BIMS) means that the steps by St Andrews Episcopal Church leading down towards Fortrose Harbour are now restored. As you can see from the first two photos taken earlier this year, the path was dangerous - slippery with a missing section of handrail. Thanks also to The Highland Council for help towards funding the project, to David Grigor for manufacturing and installing the handrail and to Martin Gill for supplying the gravel and quarry dust.

The cost of the handrail was met by a grant from The Highland Council's Common Good fund. We thank our Ward Councillors for their support!
