I joined the Community Council fourteen years ago. I have been minute secretary, vice-chair and chair, and help with the Seniors lunch and St Boniface Fair. I have a particular interest in the opportunities for local organisations under the Community Empowerment Bill.
I moved to Rosemarkie 32 years ago with my husband and four children. We ran the village shop before 'retiring' a few years ago.
The first year we arrived, we were involved with the fun day for the swimming pool and community involvement has continued in a variety of ways. I have been a member of Rosemarkie Amenities Association since it started in 2000, and have formerly served as Chair.
